Students should familiarize themselves with the important dates below.

1-Mar-19 Continuing Law Students — Priority deadline to submit 2019-20 FAFSA
Submitting a FAFSA by this date is especially important for continuing law students needing Federal Work Study aid for the upcoming Fall 2019 & Spring 2020 academic year
1-Apr-19 Summer 2019 Intent to Enroll Form (ITE) due
Applications for Summer 2019 financial aid are due and must be submitted to the Law Financial Aid Office. All applicants must have completed a 2018-19 FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
1-Apr-19 Financial Aid Award Notification for 2019-20 academic year
The USF Financial Aid Office will begin financial aid award processing in mid-March for all USF students as long as your 2019-20 FAFSA has been received. In early April, USF continuing students will be notified via email sent to your usfca.edu email account. Newly admitted students for the Fall 2019 will be notified via U.S. mail as long as 2019-20 FAFSA has been received. All USF students will be able to view financial aid award information online via your myUSF student portal. Final deadline to complete and submit a 2018-19 FAFSA for financial aid for the 2018-19 academic year at www.fafsa.ed.gov.  Final deadline to submit any Cost of Attendance (COA) budget adjustment forms for the Spring 2019 semester.
1-May-19 Summer 2019 tuition due
15-May-19 Priority deadline to "accept" the Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan online for the 2019-20 academic year via your myUSF online student portal. If you are awarded this aid after May 15, you can still "accept" this aid AFTER May 15 but you should do so as soon as possible to insure proper processing for the upcoming Fall 2019 semester. Failure to "accept" this federal aid in a timely manner could jeopardize your ability to utilize the aid to help pay your Fall 2019 semester tuition bill which is due on August 1. IMPORTANT: Applicants admitted after July 15 should "accept" their Unsubsidized Loan award as soon as they are awarded the aid to insure that is made available to help with your fall semester bill. Late admits will be provided additional assistance to insure their financial aid processing is complete before the fall semester payment deadline of August 1.
15-Jun-19 New Borrowers only — Begin completing Master Promissory Note and Online Entrance Counseling requirements for Federal Direct Unsubsidized and PLUS Loans at the www.studentloans.gov web site

Begin completing 2019-20 Graduate PLUS Loan Application online at www.studentloans.gov web site only AFTER you have “accepted” the Unsubsidized Loan
15-Jun-19 The University Financial Aid Office begins updating continuing law students’ financial aid records to note 2019-20 PLUS Loan applications and credit approval notices; PLUS Loan applications and credit approvals for new admits will be updated to your respective financial aid records after the June 21 second deposit deadline.
15-Jul-19 Priority deadline to complete 2019-20 Graduate PLUS Loan Application online at www.studentloans.gov web site
1-Aug-19 Fall 2019 Tuition Payment Deadline
1-Aug-19 Priority deadline to complete direct deposit enrollment.  You do not need to re-enroll if you are already enrolled and your bank account is still active. Direct deposit enrollment information is available at:

12-Aug-19 Earliest scheduled Fall 2019 Financial Aid Disbursement
19-Aug-19 Earliest estimated receipt of Fall 2019 direct deposit financial aid refunds.  Direct deposit refunds are received approximately 5-7 business days AFTER funds are disbursed.  Direct deposit enrollment information is available at: https://myusf.usfca.edu/billing-tuition/refunds
1-Oct-19 USF Student Enrollment Services Office cancels any 2019-20 financial aid offers not “accepted” by USF students
