| NOVEMBER 1, 2026 | Final deadline to submit any Cost of Attendance (COA) budget adjustment forms for the Fall 2026 semester. Forms submitted AFTER November 1 will still be processed but refunds will not be made until after January 4, 2027. |
| DECEMBER 1, 2026 | ***FAFSA applications for the 2026-27 academic year will be available online at studentaid.gov some time in December 2026. Our Title IV code is 001325 and it must be listed on your FAFSA. Anticipated Spring 2027 semester bills posted on myUSF online student accounts. |
| JANUARY 4, 2027 | Spring 2027 Tuition Payment Deadline. |
| Spring 2027 Financial Aid Disbursement The Student Financial Services Office begins financial aid disbursement on January 4, 2027, and will continue processing disbursements for any late spring registrants or late financial aid recipients twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays. | |
| Spring 2027 Financial Aid Refund Process If a refund is due to you after your tuition bill is paid, the first scheduled refund will be processed on January 4, 2027. Please allow 3-5 business days AFTER funds disburse to receive funds via direct deposit. Direct deposit information is available online via your myUSF online student portal. If you did not set up direct deposit, a refund will be sent to your local address. Refund checks are usually received 10-15 business days after funds are disbursed. Refunds are processed twice a week by the USF Student Accounts office on Mondays and Wednesdays. | |
| FEBRUARY 1, 2027 | New Law Students - Priority deadline to submit 2027-28 FAFSA Submitting a FAFSA by this date is especially important for new law students in order to receive a financial aid award notice in mid to late March. |
| MARCH 1, 2027 | Continuing Law Students- Priority deadline to submit 2027-28 FAFSA Submitting a FAFSA by this date is especially important for continuing law students needing Federal Work-Study aid for the upcoming Fall 2027 & Spring 2028 academic year. |
| MARCH 20, 2027 | Financial Aid Award Notification for 2027-28 academic year The USF Financial Aid Office will begin financial aid award processing in mid March for all USF students as long as your 2027-28 FAFSA has been received. In early April, USF continuing students will be notified via e-mail sent to your usfca.edu e-mail account. |
| APRIL 1, 2027 | Summer 2027 Intent to Enroll (ITE) due Applications for Summer 2027 financial aid are due and must be submitted to the Law Financial Aid Office. All applicants must have completed a 2026-27 FAFSA at Federal Student Aid. Final deadline to complete and submit a 2026-27 FAFSA for financial aid for the current 2026-27 academic year at Federal Student Aid. Final deadline to submit any Cost of Attendance (COA) budget adjustment forms for the Spring 2027 semester. |

| MAY 15, 2027 | Priority deadline to "accept" the Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan online for the 2027-28 academic year via your myUSF online student portal. If you are awarded this aid after May 15, you can still "accept" this aid after May 15, but you should do so as soon as possible to ensure proper processing for the upcoming Fall 2027 semester. Failure to "accept" this federal aid in a timely manner could jeopardize your ability to utilize the aid to help pay for your Fall 2027 semester tuition bill which is due on August 1. *IMPORTANT: *Applicants admitted after July 15 should "accept" their DL Unsubsidized award as soon it is made available to help with your fall semester bill. Late admits will be provided additional assistance to ensure their financial aid processing is complete before the fall semester payment deadline of August 1. |
| JUNE 1 - JUNE 31, 2027 | New Borrowers only - Begin completing Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Online Entrance Counseling requirements for Federal Direct Unsubsidized at Federal Student Aid website. |
| JUNE 23, 2027 | The University Financial Aid Office will begin downloading Master Promissory Note (MPN) completion notices for Unsubsidized Loans for new admits. This is done only AFTER you have submitted your second deposit. July 5 - Fall 2027 Tuition Bill Notice Email Notification |
| JULY 31, 2027 | Priority deadline to complete online direct deposit enrollment. You do not need to re-enroll if you are already enrolled and your bank account is still active. Direct deposit enrollment information is available at myUSF . |
| AUGUST 1, 2027 | Fall 2027 Tuition Payment Deadline. |
| AUGUST 13, 2027 | Earliest scheduled Fall 2027 Financial Aid Disbursements received from Federal and Private Sources |
| AUGUST 23, 2027 | Earliest estimated receipt of Fall 2027 direct deposit financial aid refunds. Direct deposit refunds are received approximately 3-5 business days AFTER funds are disbursed. Direct deposit enrollment information is available at myUSF. |
