Honors Leadership Program

With a legal education comes privilege and also challenge: the challenge to change the world for the better, whether in the private sector or public, in a courthouse, a boardroom, or the halls of government.

The USF Law Honors Leadership Program recognizes first-year students with exemplary academic, creative, and leadership records and offers some unique opportunities within our USF Law community, including:

  • A tuition supplement above and beyond scholarship dollars, for the first year
  • Invitation to special events, including faculty scholarship presentations and other scholarly events
  • Connection to a distinguished USF Law alumnus mentor, selected based on each student’s legal area of interest
  • Invitation to additional events and opportunities to build connections with other student leaders, faculty, and members of the McAuliffe Honor Society

How to Apply

Once admitted to USF Law, high-achieving, incoming first year students are invited to apply to The Honors Leadership Program by submitting a short essay.
