In-House Counsel Practicum
Step inside the legal departments of startups, established companies, and non-profits and see what it takes to succeed as in-house counsel. In this practicum, you’ll work directly with organizations ranging from fast-moving tech start-ups to large corporations, while earning academic credit and sharpening the skills employers look for.
With guidance from adjunct Professor Sue Bunnell and under the supervision of an in-house attorney, you’ll:
- Learn how legal departments advise leadership, manage risk, and align legal strategy with business goals.
- Solve business-driven legal problems. Identify risks, craft solutions, and communicate recommendations in real-world scenarios.
- Collaborate across teams. Engage with supervisors, peers, and cross-functional partners to deliver practical, business-focused advice.
