Scholarships for International Students

Academic Merit Scholarships

All international first-year applicants are automatically considered for merit scholarships up to $27,000 per year. These awards are based on a combination of GPA, English proficiency, and SAT/ACT scores, if provided.

Starting in Fall 2022, all international transfer applicants will be automatically considered for merit scholarships up to $16,000 per year. These awards are based on an applicant’s cumulative transfer GPA and English proficiency.

In order to be considered for merit scholarships, please submit your completed application, including a Certification of Finances, by the respective application deadline.

Please note that USF does not offer full-tuition merit scholarships and international students are not eligible to apply for financial aid.
