Biography

Tyson Winarski is a registered patent attorney (BSME, MSEE) specializing in patent licensing, patent portfolio strategic development, and patent prosecution based in Mountain View, California. Tyson is also the inventor of 37 patents in the fields of blockchain, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, graphene-based optic fibers, nano-composite storage mediums, and social networking devices.

Tyson has testified as an expert witness on licensing in Federal District Court and is widely published on IP matters. His patent practice has included patent litigation in Federal District Court and the International Trade Commission under Section 337, opinions on validity and infringement, all phases of patent preparation and prosecution, portfolio due diligence for mergers and acquisitions as well as IPO S-1 statements, patent reexamination proceedings, and copyright and trademark litigation and licensing.

Tyson also serves on the board of directors for the Grand Canyon Conservancy, the official nonprofit partner of the Grand Canyon National Park. Tyson is an LGBT professional.
