Biography

Elizabeth Fishman is an Associate Professor who teaches in the Legal Research, Writing, and Analysis program.  Before joining USF,  she was a professor at Golden Gate University Law School, where she taught Legal Writing & Research, Appellate Advocacy, and coached moot court.  At GGU, Professor Fishman also directed the Upper Division Writing Program, including the Appellate Advocacy program and the Moot Court program. 

Prior to her teaching career, she was Corporate Counsel at Genentech, served as a Staff Attorney at the Ninth Circuit and as a law clerk to the Honorable A. Howard Matz in the Central District of California, and worked as an Associate in Sidley Austin LLP's healthcare practice.
