The Federal Work-Study (FWS) program at USF connects eligible students with on and off campus employment opportunities to help meet the cost of education and keep student loan debt to a minimum. The program offers a federally funded form of financial aid available to undergraduates as well as second and third year law school students who qualify for need-based financial aid. By receiving priority access to the many employment opportunities available, a student with a work-study award will earn part of the cost of education and gain valuable job experience while in school. A work-study award is dependent on a student applying for financial aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
