Graduate Student Housing, Food, and Health Insurance

  • Housing and food costs are estimates based on the average full-time graduate student. See all housing and food costs.
  • Tuition, fees, housing, and food costs increase slightly each year. Over the last few years, annual increases have ranged from 2.8% to 4.9%.
  • Graduate students who are registered in 6 or more units will be charged the USF-sponsored health insurance plan for $3,745 to their direct costs. If you’ve waived the USF health insurance because you’re already covered under a plan, you won’t be charged for this.
