The University of San Francisco Silk Speaker Series includes key thought leaders on global affairs, the economy, and business.
The Silk Speaker Series is designed to provide learning opportunities and discussions for USF’s students, alumni, faculty, and friends of the university.
The Silk Speaker Series is excited to welcome Saturday Night Live writer and “Weekend Update” co-anchor, Colin Jost to the University of San Francisco in October.
Jost has won five Writers Guild Awards, two Peabody Awards, and has received 18 Emmy nominations for his work on “Saturday Night Live.” In 2020, he published A Very Punchable Face: A Memoir, a New York Times bestseller. In 2024, he made his debut as host of “Pop Culture Jeopardy!” on Prime Video, earning an Emmy nomination. Now, the Emmy Award-winning writer and comedian brings his sharp wit to USF.
