Transcript Requirements for Graduate Applicants

Learn about USF’s official transcript requirements, including how to submit transcripts and meet document requirements as part of the graduate admissions process.

Requirements

Students who are admitted to USF are required to have all their official transcripts sent directly from their institutions to USF. If you have any questions about which official transcripts are required from you, please visit the graduate next steps website and select your respective USF graduate school to find out more information about official transcripts, or refer to the "next steps" section in your admissions letter. Please note that all official transcripts become the property of USF and will not be returned.

You will not be permitted to register for your second semester classes until your official transcript has been received and verified. As stated in the online application, USF reserves the right to rescind admission based upon official documents received or not received.

International Applicants

All transcripts and degree certificates must be translated into English by your institution. If your institution can't provide that service, please have the transcript evaluated by an NACES-approved agency (www.naces.org) or a third party.

Please refer to your decision letter or email the Graduate Admission Office at graduate@usfca.edu should you have any questions.
