ST. IGNATIUS INSTITUTE
SII and the Core Curriculum
SII is compatible with any major area of study. SII students take at least two required core classes in SII-specific sections, which are smaller and more-discussion based than their non-SII equivalents.
Students fulfill their Philosophy (D1), Theology/Religious Studies (D2), and Ethics (D3) in the USF core curriculum requirements through SII-specific classes. Students may choose from several options, including:
-
- SII 210 Ancient Philosophy
- SII 220 Modern Philosophy
- SII 203 Religion and Culture in Late Antiquity
- SII 290 Catholic Social Thought
-
- SII 106 Sacred Scripture
- SII 201 Catholic Thought
-
- SII 214 Theories of Ethics
- SII 215 Ethical Theory and Practice
