Faculty Fellowships
USF will appoint three USF professors as INSJ Faculty Fellows, each with a dedicated student assistant, throughout each academic year.
Faculty Fellowships
Fellowship in Civic Discourse
A partnership between INSJ and the USF Office of the Provost, the Fellowship in Civil Discourse furthers the USF FORWARD (“Finding our Way to Respectful Dialogue”) Initiative through learning opportunities to help USF students, faculty and staff more effectively manage difficult conversations, actively listen to each other across differences, promote greater understanding, and solve problems creatively, in alignment with Jesuit values and the USF mission.
King-Jones Faculty Fellowship
A partnership between INSJ and the Leo T. McCarthy Center for Public Service and the Common Good, the King-Jones Faculty Fellowship furthers the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Dr. Clarence B. Jones through nonviolence education, moral witness, and social justice advocacy to realize the Beloved Community.
Daniel Greenberg Fellowship in Interfaith Nonviolence
This fellowship furthers the USF Interfaith Nonviolence Initiative, an ongoing university-wide initiative convened by INSJ in partnership with the Joan and Ralph Lane Center for Catholic Social Thought and the Ignatian Tradition. This initiative furthers the redemptive, healing power of nonviolence, through community-engaged scholarship and transformative interfaith dialogue at USF and among clergy and members of grassroots community organizations. The fellowship honors the blessed memory and continued legacy of Daniel Greenberg, an inspirational fighter for radical nonviolence across faith traditions.
