Dear USF
I was thrilled to receive my hard copy/print issue of USF Magazine today. Thank you for restoring the beautiful print magazine. I've saved all of my past print issues. The print magazine is especially meaningful to California's Central Valley USF alumni.

[President] Aceves is a highly accomplished USF graduate who brings great expertise and enthusiasm to his new role as the first lay president of the University of San Francisco — an impressive achievement by any measure.
However, as a proud USF alumnus, I must admit my disappointment with the decision to appoint someone other than a Jesuit priest to this important position. This choice, in my view, sends significant messages about the evolving philosophy and identity of the university.
