McCarthy Center Celebrates 25th Anniversary

The Leo T. McCarthy Center for Public Service and the Common Good is celebrating 25 years of preparing students to serve in government, business, the environment, healthcare, and education. The year will culminate in the McCarthy Center honoring former U.S. Representative Anna Eshoo with the 2026 Award for Public Service on Nov.19 in San Francisco. A recognized leader in healthcare access, technology and innovation policy, consumer protection, and public safety, Representative Eshoo embodies the values at the heart of the McCarthy Center. Become a Mentor and Share Your Journey

USF alumni are invited to serve as mentors for students enrolled in the Horizon Collective, an interdisciplinary program that tackles challenges in the areas of climate, health, and technology. As a mentor, you’ll support students as they explore their academic and professional paths. New Book on the History of the USF School of Management

The USF School of Management recently published 100 Years of Purpose, Leadership, and Service at the University of San Francisco School of Management by Alan Ziajka, USF’s historian emeritus. The book describes the Jesuit heritage of the School of Management; its innovative approach to business education; its history of community service; and its resilience. It Includes key alumni, faculty, and administrators.

USF Magazine Wins Seven Awards
