Biography

Laurence A. Blau is a certified specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law, certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He has published various articles, including co-authoring an article in the California Tax Lawyer on the effect of tax changes on subchapter S corporations. He has published a textbook entitled Fundamentals of California Estate Planning and Estate Administration. He is a regular panelist for numerous organizations conducting seminars throughout the state on various estate planning topics. Mr. Blau is also on the faculty of San Francisco City College, where he teaches estate planning and estate administration. He has also taught an estate planning class at San Francisco Law School. Mr. Blau is a San Francisco native, who graduated with distinction in his major from UC Santa Barbara. He received his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law and his LLM in Taxation from the University of Florida College of Law.
