Biography

Deborah Chang is a trial lawyer, the founder of Athea Trial Lawyers LLP, and a partner of Chang|Klein LLP in Los Angeles. U.S. News and Best Lawyers named her the 2022 "Lawyer of the Year" for Personal Injury Litigation Plaintiffs for the Los Angeles area. Chang was the President of the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC) in 2021 and the President of the Los Angeles chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) in 2022.

Chang focuses her practice representing plaintiffs in complex catastrophic injury/wrongful death cases and has achieved vast industry changes and some of the highest verdicts and settlements in California and other states in significant and important trials, including the Michael Jackson wrongful death case.
