Information for applicants in countries affected by the Covid 19 Coronavirus
The University of San Francisco remains supportive and concerned for those who are affected by the Covid 19 Coronavirus. We are committed to our international students and applicants, and will make every effort to assist you during the application, evaluation, immigration and enrollment processes.
In countries where test centers for TOEFL, IELTS, and PTE exams remain closed and test appointments have been cancelled, we will accept, as an alternative for proof of English language proficiency, the Duolingo English Test, which is taken online.
If you are unable to take a GRE or GMAT test due to test center closures, programs in the school or college to which you have applied will determine possible alternatives. Applicants to the School of Education are not required to take the GRE.
Please refer to information specific to each school and college:
- College of Arts and Sciences
- School of Education
- School of Management
- School of Nursing and Health Professions
If it is difficult to obtain bank documents for your proof of funding, graduate programs will accept bank documents up to 6 months old as well as online bank statements.
