CEA reVOLution is Love Block Party
The Community Empower Activist (CEA) Block Party is an annual event that allows students the opportunity to not only display their year-end projects but also the revolutionary power that is embodied within our community. As they utilize the lessons and experiences that they have garnered from class, community partners, and their advocacy practices to create a call to action that embraces transformative justice and revolutionary love. Year after year students construct valuable pieces of art, writing, analysis, etc. that strip the constraining oppressive barriers around them to produce an array of radical, creative, and liberating work that inspires their audiences.
Our future visionary leaders and organizers who are taking the steps to liberate the world around us from the ground up from the land to our hearts. This Block party is to honor their commitment to the revolution of love and collective liberation. They artfully curated remedies for our souls so that we can continue to nurture our brothers and sisters in the world that we call home.
