USF’s Class of 2026 Gives Back
Following commencement weekend at the University of San Francisco, members of the senior class reflect on the end of their college journey not only with caps and gowns, but with a collective act of generosity.

The Senior Class Gift campaign invites graduating students to support the next generation of students through a gift that reflects the values, community, and opportunities that shaped their own time at the university. For many seniors, participation is about more than making a donation; it’s about leaving a lasting impact and continuing a tradition of giving back.
For Carolayne Lange ’26, helping lead the Senior Class Gift effort was deeply personal. “I know I spearheaded the senior class gift fund selection, but I also am always one to give back to the communities that raised me and brought me up,” Lange said. “And I wanted to give back so the students after me can benefit as well.”

Like Lange, Jacob Eusebio ’26 saw the Senior Class Gift as a way to pay forward the opportunities he received during his time at the university.“I’m an International Business major, and USF gave me opportunities I wouldn’t have had otherwise,” Jacob said. “I had the chance to study abroad in Japan, and experiences like that inspired me to give back so future students can have those same opportunities.”
Their sentiments reflect the spirit behind the campaign: students coming together to ensure future generations can experience the same sense of support, opportunity, and community that shaped their own journeys.
The campaign reflects a growing culture of philanthropy among students who recognize that every gift, regardless of size, creates opportunities for future generations. At the time of publication, the Senior Class Gift campaign received 52 gifts from graduating seniors, but donations are still being counted.
As the Class of 2026 crossed the commencement stage, their legacy will extend beyond graduation day, carried forward through their commitment to supporting the future of the university and the students who will one day follow in their footsteps.
