USF Celebrates Campaign Achievements with CelebrateUSF

by Pia Kayser, Development Communications

On October 21-23, USF will celebrate the completion and achievement of its largest fundraising campaign to date: $312 million.

The Changing The World From Here campaign has been an astounding success due to the USF community. Since the campaign launched in 2019, USF has raised over $312 million; $122 million for new scholarships, $146 million for program support, and $42 million for facilities improvements.

The University of San Francisco will be hosting a series of community-wide curated events called CelebrateUSF. It will be a weekend of festivities providing a space for alumni, students, families, and staff to reconnect in person and celebrate the university’s achievements and its exciting plans for the future.

In addition, the Alumni Awards Reception will be held on Friday, October 21, to honor the university's alumni and all of their achievements. All alumni are welcome to join and celebrate alumni, friends, and peers in their accomplishments. The Golden reunion for the alumni class of 1972 will be celebrated along with the classes of 1970 and 1971, due to their previous reunions occurring over the pandemic. This will be the first in-person reunion since 2019, and USF is excited to have its alumni reunited on campus once again. The weekend will also include a reunion for the alumnae of Lone Mountain College, previously known as the San Francisco College for Women, along with a celebration of teachers.

Saturday afternoon will consist of a food and music festival featuring Boudin, Organic Coup, La Colombe, Bon Appetit, Hometown Creamery, and Yacht rock cover band, Mustache Harbor. All are welcome to attend and enjoy the food and live music to celebrate the hard work and generosity that has gone into reaching and exceeding the goal for the Campaign for USF.

“We are so grateful to have such a remarkable community that has allowed us to reach this goal” said Fr. Paul, president of USF. “CelebrateUSF is a chance to celebrate exceeding our campaign goal and to show how much we appreciate our USF community.”
