In-Person Spring Commencement Ceremonies Resume at USF

SAN FRANCISCO (May 10, 2022) – The University of San Francisco (USF) will hold its spring commencement ceremonies from Thursday, May 19 through Saturday, May 21 at St. Ignatius Church on the USF campus. The 2022 spring graduates include 1,133 undergraduate students, 1,051 masters students, and 191 doctoral students across the university’s five schools and colleges.

“I am so proud of these graduates; they have persevered through a pandemic and all of the associated challenges and stresses with resiliency, agency and determination,” said USF President Paul J. Fitzgerald, S.J. “Along the way they have helped one another to succeed. I wish them continued success in the next chapter of their amazing stories.”

Members of this graduating class hail from 58 countries around the globe, and from 45 states and U.S. Territories. Continuing USF’s commitment to access, 693 of the graduating students are first generation college students. Nursing, psychology, biology, marketing, and management are among the top majors of this distinguished USF class. These graduates will join more than 119,000 USF alumni around the world.

The USF Spring 2022 Commencement Schedule is listed below. All events are ticketed, and will be held in-person at St. Ignatius Church on the USF campus.
