GivingTuesday: 447 Donors, Ongoing Impact
On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, the USF community gathered together to celebrate GivingTuesday, a global movement that inspires generosity to promote people to give back to their organizations, support their communities, and create positive impact.
Thanks to the support of 447 alumni, families, students, and friends, GivingTuesday raised over $89,000 unlocking $611,000 in challenge gifts. This year’s efforts surpassed 2024 with 101 more donors and an additional $22,677 raised.
This GivingTuesday, USF encouraged its community to give, share, and spread their generosity. This year’s theme was You’re the Missing Piece, highlighting how each individual’s support contributes to completing the bigger picture of a university's excellence.
At USF, where 98% of undergraduate students receive financial aid, each gift helps fill a crucial gap, ensuring every student has access to quality education.
This year, the top areas of support were the USF Fund, the USF Scholarship, and the School of Law Assembly Fund. Beyond these priorities, donor gifts will help enrich programs, expand scholarships, strengthen student services, and fuel the university’s continued growth and momentum.
For Chloe DuBois, director of annual giving, GivingTuesday highlights the depth of support within the USF community.
“What made this GivingTuesday so special wasn't just reaching our goal — it was seeing our entire community rally together with a shared commitment to student success,” DuBois said. “Each donor completed the puzzle, proving that our collective generosity creates lasting change for USF students and the communities they'll serve.”
GivingTuesday is all about participation. Each gift makes an impact, helping create a brighter future for current and future Dons who will go on to make a difference in the world.
GivingTuesday might be over but you can still help USF complete the bigger picture of student success. Support USF students with your gift.
