HYSTA Welcomes Professor Xiaohua Yang as a Key Panel Speaker

Professor Xiaohua Yang was invited as a key panel speaker at this year’s HYSTA annual conference on September 29, 2012.  She was the only scholar on the HYSTA’s key panel.

Her talk on transforming Chinese brands into global brands attracted much attention from the audience.  She was interviewed immediately after her panel by Sing Tao Daily, the largest Chinese language newspaper distributed in the U.S. 

HYSTA is a leading organization for Chinese IT professionals and entrepreneurs in the Silicon Valley.  Its annual conference boasts an attendance of about 1,500 people.  This year’s conference theme is "China's Impact on the Global Economy”.  Professor Yang’s key panel is entitled “Transforming Chinese brands into global brands.”

Professor Yang is the leading expert and award-winning scholar in the emerging field of globalization of Chinese enterprises.  She leads globalization of Chinese business programs at the University of San Francisco School of Management and regularly speaks at conferences, symposia, and forums on this topic.
