EJS Raises Awareness of Global Poverty

Law students and various Bay Area artists, including sculptors, painters, and photographers, will participate.

"This art show reminds me that there is more to my life than just cases, statutes, lawyers, and the next networking event," USF EJS President Angela Kim said. "And very importantly, it also reminds me that social justice issues can be solved in other ways than just with the law."

The opening reception, which will include spoken word performances, will be 6 p.m. Feb. 20 in Kendrick Hall. Food and wine will be served. EJS will accept donations and proceeds will benefit The Forgotten International, a nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating poverty throughout the world.
