Student Government
USF has two student governments: the Associated Students of USF (ASUSF) Senate and the Graduate Student Senate (GSS).
ASUSF Senate

The ASUSF Senate is committed to amplifying student voices to inspire progress and promote positive change in the USF community. ASUSF Senate creates resolutions and legislation that address student needs at USF. Attend their public meetings to learn more about the impact of resolutions and how they work. Also, find out about open seats on the Senate or their committees, or get in touch with your representatives.
Graduate Student Senate

GSS represents, leads, and unifies graduate students at USF. Their goal: achieve the betterment of the students in their professional and social interests and promote the coordination of activities and events for the grad student population.
Their committees – including external affairs, policy, and mission committees – meet monthly on Monday evenings and provide graduate students with opportunities to be involved in decision making and gain experience in: event planning, finance, policy, and social justice initiatives.
