Writing in Dangerous Times

How do you tell children the truth in stories—and why does it matter? During CelebrateUSF Alumni & Family Weekend, USF’s new MFA in Writing for Young Readers will explore these questions in a conversation with acclaimed authors Dashka Slater and Eugene Yelchin. The event will feature Yelchin’s short film and his new graphic memoir I Wish I Didn’t Have to Tell You This, followed by an interview, audience Q&A, and an introduction to the program’s vision.
