Cheryl Derricotte Black History Month Lecture

18February
5:45PM - 7:45PM
Fromm Hall 115 - Berman Conference Room

Cheryl Derricotte’s art practice often weaves stories from the Black diaspora into glass, paper, textiles and public art. Derricotte is particularly adept at conveying difficult histories in a visually pleasing manner to invite a reckoning with the past. This evening’s illustrated lecture will provide examples from her portfolio over the past decade. There will be time for Q & A at the conclusion of the presentation.
