Our students have access to a world of resources

Support & Resources

From the first week students arrive on campus, USF provides its students the support and resources necessary to succeed academically, and set them on their career path.

Academic Advising

From orientation to graduation, USF students work together with full-time faculty to create a personalized, comprehensive, and realistic individual academic plan based upon each student’s interests, strengths, and goals.

Academic advising is more than course selection — it’s an ongoing conversation that explores the full range of educational and co-curricular opportunities available at the university, as well as a student’s future plans beyond USF.

USF is committed to empowering students to achieve their academic goals. To assist students, the Center for Academic and Student Achievement offers one-on-one academic coaching and evaluations to help keep students on the road to graduation.

Career Services

The USF Career Services Center provides support for students, whether they are freshman figuring out their career paths or seniors looking for their first full-time opportunity. Students receive assistance in writing resumes and cover letters, interview practice, finding a job or internship, exploring careers and majors, and applying to graduate school.

The Priscilla A. Scotlan Career Services Center offers the following services to students:

  • Career Fairs
  • Online Job & Internship Boards
  • On-Campus interviews
  • Employer Meet-ups
  • Company Trek & Open Houses
  • Information Tables & Sessions
