HUMANITIES MELLON SCHOLARS

Eligibility

Community college transfer students are eligible for the full benefits of the Mellon Scholar Program, including tuition scholarship and all other resources, if they fulfill one of the following three tiers of eligibility:

  • Humanities Major student (see list of eligible majors below)
  • Humanities Minor student (see list of eligible minors below)
  • Completion of Honors College certification
    • All Mellon Scholar students are automatically accepted into USF’s Honors College, and can choose an Honors College certification in lieu of Humanities Major/Minor if preferred
  • Students must have successfully completed at least 2 years of college credit (64 semester units)
  • 2.7 minimum GPA (with some flexibility) and in good academic standing
