College Access Programs
USF is committed to equity and inclusion for all students. The College Access Programs (CAP) are the vehicles toward this mission for under-served middle and high school students in San Francisco.
USF launched the Educational Talent Search grant in Fall 2016, to support historically marginalized students by providing academic, career, and financial counseling towards high school completion and the pursuit of post-secondary education. CAP collaborates with institutional and community partners to efficiently serve students and create a safety net of caring adults to help students navigate the educational and social landscapes.

Talent Search increases the number of youth from disadvantaged backgrounds who complete high school and their post-secondary education.
Federal TRIO Programs
Federal TRIO Programs are funded by the US Department of Education. Programs identify and serve and assist low-income individuals, first-generation college students, and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-baccalaureate programs.
