SF Giants Intern Hears a Sports Photography Career Calling
When San Francisco Giants superfan Allie Prawdzik ’17 landed an internship in June photographing some of the team’s biggest moments, she had to pinch herself to be sure she wasn’t dreaming.
In advertising, broad is better. From writing skills to presentation styles, analytical approaches to public speaking proficiency, the broader the abilities, the greater the potential to effectively reach any audience.
The interdisciplinary Advertising program at USF is an opportunity to become a well-rounded professional, prepared to meet the wide-ranging demands of the global marketplace. Faculty combine communication studies, design, computer science, and business to create a curriculum that accurately reflects a diverse, often controversial advertising industry and equips students with a uniquely versatile skill set.
If your goal is to use your major in Design, Marketing, Computer Science, Communication Studies, History, English, Media Studies, Entrepreneurship (and others) to work in a communications or business environment, an understanding of advertising will enhance your skills in your major of interest.
