Biography
Sonnet Daymont, LMFT is a psychotherapist and educator specializing in evidence-based, trauma informed care. She has experience providing brief and measurement-informed behavioral health treatment using approaches including CBT, ERP, EMDR, and MBSR interventions. Her professional interests include clinical ethics, trauma and resilience, culturally responsive care, and the development of mental health professionals. Sonnet has worked across private practice, organizational behavioral health, nonprofit, and educational settings and has experienced in clinical consultation, mentorship, and program development. She earned her MA in Counseling Psychology from University of San Francisco and currently teaches Ethical, Legal, and Professional Issues to graduate counseling psychology students at USF.
