Donna Scarlett is an adjunct professor in the Teacher Education at the University of San Francisco and a part-time education consultant. Her expertise includes secondary-English teaching, curriculum design, teacher mentoring, and instructional coaching. She is the Chief Executive Officer of the Oaks Center for Educational Advancement (previously Teacher Lab). Prior to teaching at the University of San Francisco, Dr. Scarlett was a faculty member of both the Languages Department at Radboud University and the English Education program at the HAN University for Applied Sciences in Nijmegen, Netherlands. Her research interests include ELA pedagogical content knowledge, secondary writing instruction, and instructional coaching and mentoring.
