Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology, was founded for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. Psi Chi’s mission is to produce well-educated, ethical, and socially responsible members committed to the science and profession of psychology and to society.
Our Psi Chi chapter has won multiple awards for papers presented at the Western Psychological Association's annual conference. We were awarded the Psi Chi Regional Chapter Award in the Western Region in 2010 for schools with an enrollment of more than 5,000 students. In 2008 and 2009, we organized and sponsored two department-wide undergraduate research conferences.
