Biography

Jacquenette Michael is a seasoned clinician and leader with over 18 years of experience in behavioral health and 14 years of experience in leadership. She currently teaches in the Counseling Psychology program at the University of San Francisco, specializing in the Marriage and Family Therapy track. Her career includes leadership roles at Stanford Sierra Youth & Families, where she served as Program Director (2018-2024) and is currently a part-time Advisor/Trainer, providing guidance on evidence-based practices and program development. Jacquenette also served as Director of Outpatient Services at Sierra Vista Hospital, overseeing partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services at two sites.

In addition to her clinical and leadership work, Jacquenette founded Strategies for Transformation in 2024, a consultancy focused on training and supporting organizations working with underserved populations. Her expertise in program development, mentorship, and social justice informs her approach to teaching and professional development.
