Engineering Physics, Minor

Autonomous cars, speech and face recognition, robots that stock warehouses — engineering physics has made what was once magical possible. Students who minor in engineering physics will learn how these and other monumental achievements became a reality.

Our interdisciplinary curriculum combines physics and engineering with computer science and machine learning. You'll leave with a strong understanding of the computational hardware and software that will help them shape the future of this rapidly developing field.

Engineering physics widened my perspective of what I can achieve. Thanks to the computational physics classes in particular, I figured out my passion and the direction for my future career, which is to dedicate myself to the field of artificial intelligence.”
