Biography
Rachel Moore specializes in thematic violence and trauma, specifically within the sub-disciplines of Latin American, Medieval European, and veterans of war histories. Holding a Masters in both History and the Humanities, she infuses her curricula with a broad range of sources from all disciplines within the Humanities and social sciences in order to help students develop a rich understanding of both history and current affairs. Her most recent publications include scholarship on the social history of medicine during the Black Death and the effects of sound on veterans of the Gulf Wars.
