Transforming Big Data Education
Just seven years ago David Uminsky founded USF’s BS in Data Science program and in 2014 accepted the role of program director of the MS in Data Science (MSDS) program.
Since then, both programs have experienced continual growth and MSDS graduates have enjoyed an employment rate of over 90 percent within three months of graduation. Today, David co-directs the MS in Data Science and serves as executive director of the Data Institute. David talks about his journey with USF and his outlook for present and future data scientists in an interview with Analytics Insight.
