A reflection on this year's Annual Crawford Lecture

In this inspiring and galvanizing conversation, journalist Sarah DiGregorio illuminated the many ways that nursing has been the key to the flourishing of human communities, from antiquity to the present. She focused on stories of nurses who have used their unique insight and expertise to tackle some of the biggest problems of their time. Her narratives show that, because they work in deep relationships with people, nurses possess uncommon knowledge and the ability to alleviate suffering of all kinds.
About the Crawford Lecture
The Crawford Lecture was endowed in memory of Geraldine Crawford to provide education for the community. The Annual Crawford Lecture features a guest speaker to discuss innovative approaches to improving population health.
