Evening of Evidence Celebrates Scholarly Excellence in Nursing and Health Professions

At the end of each semester and academic year, the School of Nursing and Health Professions hosts the Evening of Evidence. This event showcases students' scholarly work to family members, preceptors, mentors, and community members, emphasizing the importance of academic excellence and community engagement.

The showcased work encompasses a variety of topics, including maternal and child health, adult and senior health, environmental health, public health equity, mental health, and patient-centered care.

Students, either individually or in groups, present their research and academic achievements using posters, boards, infographics, slides, or other communication platforms.

To encourage inclusive collaboration and conversation among attendees, presenting students are grouped by topic of inquiry rather than by their specific programs.

The Evening of Evidence celebrates the remarkable scholarly and community contributions of students, fostering pride and a sense of accomplishment within our community.
