Summer Wang

Summer Wang is a Senior Data Scientist at Netflix for Growth where she works on causal effect estimation to innovate and evaluate product features to grow Netflix subscriptions and revenues. She specializes in AB testing, causal inference, and applied data analysis. Prior to that, Summer got her PhD in Education Policy at University of California Irvine in 2017. Summer also holds a MS in Statistics and MA in Education.. Before starting her PhD program, Summer worked at Stanford Rural Education Action Program (REAP) as a research assistant for development economics program evaluation, where she conducted and analyzed large scale random control trials to understand the effectiveness of human capital programs in education and health.
