Silvie E. Arabia

Silvie E. Arabia, DNP, MPH, MSN,  PMHNP-BC, WHNP-BC  is an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco School of Nursing and Health Professions. She is committed to health equity and supporting the health and well-being of childbearing families as reflected in her roles as both Perinatal Services Coordinator and Nurse Consultant for the past 4+ years in addition to her peer-reviewed publications. 

She holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from The Valley Foundation School of Nursing and an MPH from the University of Edinburgh Medical School in Scotland (U.K.). She is dual board- certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and is Certified in Perinatal Mental Health through PSI.  She enjoys teaching and mentoring ME-MSN students in the psychiatric inpatient setting with a professional interest in Perinatal Mental Health/Reproductive Psychiatry. She currently practices as a part-time PMHNP and Perinatal Nurse Consultant.
