Biography
Randall is a registered psychiatric/mental health nurse, educator, and PhD student with a passion for advancing culturally responsive mental health care. He serves as an adjunct faculty member in nursing, where he teaches psychiatric and mental health nursing, leadership, and quality improvement. His clinical and academic experiences have shaped his commitment to addressing mental health disparities and improving access to culturally appropriate care.
His professional and scholarly interests center on the mental health and well-being of Pacific Islander communities, with particular attention to reducing stigma, strengthening community-based mental health approaches, and understanding the influence of families, culture, and social systems on mental health. As a Pacific Islander and Samoan, Randall is committed to engaging communities in meaningful, culturally grounded research that supports improved mental health outcomes and contributes to addressing gaps in the existing literature on Pacific Islander populations.
