Kelsey B. Green

Kelsey B. Green, DNP, MPH, RN, PHN, is a nurse, educator, and public health leader working at the intersection of nursing education, perinatal health, and community health workforce development. She is an Assistant Professor at the University of San Francisco School of Nursing and Health Professions, where she teaches the Fundamentals theory course in the BSN program and serves as Clinical Director and Program Coordinator of the USF CNA Training Program.

She brings over eight years of emergency nursing experience with adult and pediatric patients, a background in community-based doula and breastfeeding programs, and experience as a nurse consultant for Sevita Health, supporting clinical staff who care for individuals with disabilities and complex medical histories. She is a Certified Matrescence Educator and Facilitator and serves on the Editorial Advisory Committee for Wiley's Nursing Open.

Kelsey earned her BSN, MPH, and DNP in Population Health Leadership from USF. Her interests include matrescence and patrescence, perinatal health equity, breastfeeding disparities, and culturally grounded programs supporting the transition to parenthood.
