Clara Tosi
Adjunct Professor
Biography
Clara Tosi received her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (France) in 2022, after completing her MS from the same institution in 2018 and her BS from La Sapienza University (Rome, Italy) in 2015.
Dr. Tosi's career has spanned both academic and industrial research, including work on carbon capture and soil remediation. During her PhD, Dr. Tosi researched how to valorize carbon capture, helping develop a new CO₂ capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) method that led to two pending international patents, with her findings published in Nature Chemistry.
Her current focus lies at the intersection of chemistry education and scientific illustration, which she combines to promote scientific outreach and make complex scientific concepts accessible to broader audiences.
