Tips

  • Make sure your iPhone or Android phone is running on one of the 3 latest operating systems
  • Wait a second or two for some systems and applications (e.g. One Card) to load — your USF network information must be verified first
  • Count on academic information being fed in directly from our student information system
  • Graduate students: look for the resource link specifically created for you under the Resources section
  • If you notice anything that needs to be updated or added, please give us your feedback

Thanks to all the USF students, faculty, and staff who participated in the survey and focus groups. Your feedback was invaluable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Login Issues

We are aware of the need to re-enter your login upon returning to use the USFMobile app. Currently if you login once and leave your app open, you will remain logged in for two hours. The ability to save passwords or use your biometric information to login (fingerprint or face recognition) is currently being worked on within our USFMobile software. We hope to have this fixed in the near future. Use of a password management program can help with retaining biometric login. See Password Management for more information.

Password Management

In early August 2020, USF made significant changes to our Single Sign On and mobile tools. These changes should make it possible for our users to use a password manager to login to all systems including the mobile app.

Disclaimer: USF does not recommend or endorse any specific password management tools.

System Updates

Make sure your phone is running one of the three latest operating systems on your mobile phone. We currently support the latest three operating systems for iPhone and Android users.

Why is Canvas not included in the USFMobile app?

When a separate app already exists, there is no benefit to including the link to the app within USFMobile since this would be a one-time use. Canvas allows only a limited number of its functions to be accessed outside their own application, making true integration with the USFMobile app impossible. We encourage you to download the Canvas app for iPhone or Android directly to your mobile device and use that app for your class needs.
