Virtual Tour: Lone Mountain Campus - 281 Masonic
Three floors of classrooms and offices can be found here, including the Leo T. McCarthy Center for Public Service and the Common Good.
Originally Presentation High School, then later Lincoln University, USF began leasing 281 Masonic in 2000.
The first two floors house the McCarthy Center; our performing arts department; the Center for Research, Artistic, & Scholarly Excellence; classrooms; and other offices. The Sisters of the Presentation use the 3rd floor.
A U-shaped seating arrangement is one of the options you can you find in 281 Masonic, as well as other classrooms across campus.
After acquiring the lease for 281 Masonic, USF completely renovated the building.
281 Masonic
Located on the edge of USF’s campus, 281 Masonic is home to the Leo T. McCarthy Center for Public Service and the Common Good. The center is dedicated to preparing students to pursue lives and careers of ethical public service.
281 Masonic also hosts the Performing Arts and Social Justice department, the first program in the nation that trains young artists to create a humane and just society through their craft.
