MBA 6205 - Corporate Financial Reporting and Analysis (2)

(Elective for Finance concentration.) The main objective of this course centers on the recognition, understanding and analysis of corporate financial statements from the viewpoint of various professional users, corporate executives, bankers, creditors, security/financial analysts and investors. Emphasis is placed upon the assessment of quality of the 10K income statement and balance sheet, financial position and cash flows underlying financial valuation. The course blends theory with practical application through the extensive use of actual company examples and cases. Prerequisites: MBA 617 or (MBA 6109 and MBA 6110 ) or MBAI 5002 or MBA 6019 Degree restricted to Master of Business Admin.
