Under 60 Units Probation Requirements

As a student with under 60 total units (freshman and sophomores), you are required to do the following (as outlined in your Academic Contract):
  1. Attend one Probationary Workshop from the following:
    Monday, August 24                
     Cowell 417
      7:00-8:30pm  Cowell 417
  2. Complete Monthly Course Progress Report due on the following dates:
    • September 14, 2009
    • October 19, 2009
    • November 16, 2009
    • December 7, 2009

  3. Meet every month with your academic coach (bring your Course Progress Reports to this meeting to discuss)       
    • Meeting #1  Needs to take place around September 14
    • Meeting #2 Needs to take place around October 19
    • Meeting #3 Needs to take place around November 16
    • Meeting #4 Needs to take place around December 7

  4. Attend one Academic Success Workshop (listed below) or enroll in College Success course

Other Academic Contract Requirements

  1. You may register for no more than 14 units during a semester.
  2. You must receive a C or better in each of your major classes with a semester GPA of 2.0.
  3. You may receive no Incomplete grades.
  4. You need to meet regularly with your professors and advisor for academic support.
  5. You must check your USF Connect e-mail account frequently to receive important ‘academic related’ e-mail messages.
  6. If any one of the above conditions is not met, you will be subject to continued probation or academic disqualification at the end of the semester.
