“The reason why I decided to march with USF this year, is because I came out at USF and came out in San Francisco, so USF will always have that very special place in my heart and is part of my coming out story, so that’s why I march with USF.”


What does Pride mean to you?

“Pride to me is just an opportunity for the queer community to come together and be in community. It’s an opportunity to recognize the work that has been done by activists and people who have come before us. It’s an opportunity to celebrate but also to continue to push society to make a more accepting environment for us both here, everywhere, legislatively, workplaces, home — so that’s what Pride is to me.
